I was excited to have the opportunity to review these wholesome treats from Annie’s Pooch Pop’s. To be true, I am not sure who was more excited, myself or Tracker!
Tracker loves her job as a product reviewer and takes it quite seriously (most days). She loves the camera and the camera seems to love her, which makes taking photos of her with the products a breeze.
When I received the package and began taking the products out of the box, I always take photos. As soon as I laid the boxes down, Tracker went into “review mode”. She seriously just sat by the boxes, looked at me as if to say “I’m ready for my close-up.”
I couldn’t wait to receive these products for Tracker to try for a couple of reasons. The first being the ingredients that the treats are made of. They contain nothing but healthy things that we would bake our own foods with. The second being the oh so cute and unique packaging plus the creative styles of the treats themselves.
For a lot of us, our dogs are our children. Like children, we want only the best for them. I don’t know of any children who doesn’t like a Happy Meal and why would our dogs be any different. Okay, so the cute packaging and the awesome presentation of the treats would be for our own benefit, but how can we resist!
The Happy Dog Burger Meal (RV: $8.99) I received contained 1 Order of French Fries, 1 Bacon Cheeseburger and 4 Yogurt Cookies for dessert. As an example of the natural products contained within Annie’s treats, the Bacon Cheeseburger has Unbleached whole wheat flour, natural bacon flavour, peanut butter, cheddar cheese, sesame seeds, butter, egg and Vitamin E.
All of Annie’s treats are made with 100% human grade ingredients. They feel strongly that their dogs should not eat anything that they wouldn’t consume themselves. Annie’s wants you to feel confident, while placing your order, that your pets are getting the finest treats available.
Annie’s Pooch Pops Happy Holiday Cookies (RV: $5.99) are to die for! To me they remind me of the cookies that my mom used to place on platters for our guests. Simple Ingredients: Wheat flour, corn syrup, vegetable shortening, peanut butter, whey, sugar, color.
As with many of the treats that Tracker reviews, I was compelled to try them. They actually were quite good. A little on the dry side but nothing that a nice hot cup ‘o tea couldn’t fix.
Annie’s Pooch Pop’s has many great products for your four legged furry family members. Everything from Elk Antlers, Muttkins (a fresh beef product), Farm Fresh products and personalized items too!!
Keeping it Fresh
Storage: Annie’s treats are preserved naturally. According to Annie the treats will usually last 9 months if they are stored properly. Annie asks that you do not seal them in plastic baggies! We recommend leaving them in their original wax bag or freezing if you will have them longer than 9 months. The treats can be frozen in the bag they come in and will taste wonderful when you need them again.
