Bring on Spring: myfunvelope Monthly Craft Subscription

myfunvelope: Bring on Spring

Celebrating Spring with Fun-Themed Crafts

myfunvelopeFinally a fun, and AFFORDABLE craft subscription box that kids love! Every month your child will rush to the mailbox to receive their funvelope. They will discover and have fun with FOUR unique craft projects that follow a fun monthly theme. They will also receive a STEM (Science, Technology,Engineering, Math) activity for hands on building that is fun and sometime hilarious!!!

Not too long ago I reviewed the Superhero myfunvelope package, and I was WOWED. If you haven’t read my review, you can check it out here.  I had no idea that so much fun could be packed inside of an envelope! We were sent two Superhero myfunvelopes, and there was enough projects to keep all three boys occupied for several hours.

I literally jumped at the chance to review their newest themed envelope, Bring on Spring.

myfunvelope

The continued goal of myfunvelope is to provide a fun, exciting and engaging monthly craft subscription service that is affordable! For the second time, I am WOWED by this service. This is truly an envelope of FUN, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that the boys eyes lit up when they saw it. They remembered the Superhero packages, and they had so much fun doing those craft activities. This is truly a subscription service to get excited about!

myfunvelope

The Bring on Spring myfunvelope package is even better than the Superhero one, and we LOVED everything about the Superhero package. The Bring on Spring package features 7 fun activities that help celebrate all the wonderful things of spring! As always, an information pamphlet is included with instructions for all of the projects.

CRAFT TIME!

Since we didn't have any disposable cups (or plastic cups we wanted to use for this) we decided to use the container from a package of mushrooms. This represents 2 of the Mr. Grass Head kits, and we decided that we would make the Cat Grass Family instead.

What I liked:

  • I liked that there were 7 fun and engaging crafts of varying difficulties to keep the kids busy for several hours.
  • I really loved the Spring theme!
  • Almost everything was included, including scissors. The only item I needed to provide from home was a container for the Mr. Grass Head.
  • Easy to follow instructions included!
  • Mr. Grass Head is similar to the cat grass kits we buy, so this will very likely end up functioning as a tasty treat for the cats once its grown.
  • Hayden’s favourite craft: The Sun Necklace
  • Kristopher’s favourite craft: The Bug Box
  • Thomas’ favourite craft: The Draw a Ladybug card

Overall, I’m really impressed with the myfunvelope craft kits. Like the Superhero kit, the Bring on Spring kit kept all 3 of the boys busy for the better part of the afternoon. The projects themselves ranged from easy (no help needed) to parent supervision required (the grass), and they did need my help with the necklace (but only for adding the clasp and tying the ends). It made for a really fun afternoon spent together!
