Premium Near Beer has some of the top brands of non-alcoholic beer from world class brewers. Premium Near Beer came to be when it’s founder, Ted Fleming, became chronically ill and was forced to eliminate alcohol from his diet. After trying the few selections with similar tastes that were offered in grocery stores, bars and restaurants, he became frustrated and set out on a search to find, locate and acquire premium non-alcoholic brews that would offer a wide variety of tastes and styles.
The non-alcoholic beverages are perfect for athletes, pregnant woman, as a healthy alternative to soda and energy drinks, medical conditions, religious beliefs and designated drivers. These non-alcoholic beers have 1/2 to 2/3 the calories of regular beer.
I have heard so many “stories” about how awful non-alcoholic beer tastes. I was really hesitant and contemplated about reviewing the product line but then quickly came to the decision to go for it! I thought that just because all my connoisseur of beer drinking friends didn’t like the beverages they had tried in the past and so long ago, it did not mean that I would not like them. Everyone has their own tastes and who knows, I just might love the Premium Near Beer. I also thought that the man in my life might have a taste for the brews as well.
I began my review of the products shortly after moving. It was quite the job as I was moving from a 5 bedroom large old farmhouse on 61 acres and downsizing to a small 3 bedroom cabin located in an isolated valley on about 2 acres. Towards the end of the move, I had hurt my back severely (as if I my already wrecked back needed yet another injury). I was laid up for more than a week with total bed rest and placed on heavy meds (as if I needed anything more heavier than the ones I am on now). Premium Near Beer arrived just in time. I was able to have a drink to celebrate my move without having to worry about the effects of alcohol mixing with the meds. I was a happy camper to say the least.
Dry Hopped with Cascade Hops
This brew is also a dark malt and I had a hard time with this one. I think that dark malts are just not my thing.
For those who already like dark malt brews, this might just be to your liking.
Product of Germany
I have to say that this brew was Dan’s favourite and my second favourite. We both liked it and for Dan to admit that he actually liked a non-alcoholic beverage is saying something!!
For me, I liked the light taste. I was quite surprised to find that I did like it as I have never really been partial to German beer.
Remember: Everyone has their own tastes and therefore decide what is palatable to them. Please do not take my word for it. Try it for yourself. You just might like one of the many brews that Premium Near Beer has to offer.
