BrickHeadz: A New Way to Play & Collect with LEGO

LEGO BrickHeadz

The Joker & Batgirl

We are a LEGO Household. The boys love building and construction sets, and LEGO products are always always ALWAYS at the top of their wish lists. My youngest has just recently started to move away from the LEGO DUPLO sets towards the regular LEGO with the smaller pieces. Ever since we saw The Lego Batman Movie in theatres earlier this year, all Hayden wants is Batman EVERYTHING, especially LEGO. He was very excited to receive Joker and Batgirl construction sets in the mail last week. Although all the boys love LEGO, Hayden is my Batman fan so he called dibs!

New for Spring 2017, LEGO BrickHeadz construction characters offer a new way to collect, build and display the characters you love from your favourite movies, TV series, games and comics.

About LEGO BrickHeadz

  • Each construction character comes with its own buildable collector’s base plate.
  • You can grow your collection with other classic characters from your favourite movies, TV series, games and comics, including Batman, Robin, The Joker, and Batgirl from THE LEGO BATMAN movie.
  • Mash up your BrickHeadz construction characters to create awesome hybrids or use your imagination and create your own characters.
  • As always, all pieces are compatible with other LEGO construction sets.
  • Each character stands over 2” (7cm) tall.

The Joker™ LEGO® BrickHeadz

  • Buildable The Joker construction character features authentic detailing, eyes, buildable green hair and outfit from THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE, plus a display base plate.
  • Includes instructions and 151 pieces

Batgirl™ LEGO® BrickHeadz

  • Includes instructions and 99 pieces

Hayden LOVED The LEGO BrickHeadz construction sets. LOVED LOVED LOVED (as his silly smiling face can attest to). As he’s only 7, he did need my help and I’m a life-long lover of all things LEGO so it made for some nice Mommy-Hayden time. It took us about an hour to put the Joker together, and about half hour or so to put together Batgirl. Like all LEGO products, the instructions were easy to follow. The size of the completed characters is great for playing with AND displaying on a shelf.

“Joker” Face

The only thing Hayden didn’t like is that he doesn’t have Batman or Robin, so I’ve already placed an order online. Well played, LEGO. Well played.  Oh, and standard shipping is FREE with a purchase of $35 or more before taxes and sometimes they have nice little promotions like FREE LEGO with a minimum purchase. Free shipping, a FREE Mini Milano, and some LEGO for the boys. I also earned some points with my VIP LEGO membership! Sounds like everyone is a winner here!

There are 4 DC Comics™ Super Heroes BrickHeadz available to collect: Batman, Batgirl, Robin and The Joker.

Priced at just $12.99 CAD ($9.99 US), these sets make a great affordable gift for the Lego lover in your life! The recommended age for BrickHeadz is 10+ due to the small pieces. LEGO BrickHeadz can be purchased online at shop.LEGO.com.

Our Lego order arrived with the Batman and Robin Brickheadz. Someone is pretty happy. He loves Batman and Robin.

Andrea resides in Calgary, Alberta, and is the proud mom to five boys between the ages of 7-22. Running mainly on coffee and sarcasm, in her spare time she enjoys listening to Canadian Rock, watching Calgary Flames hockey, reading YA Dystopian novels, and binge watching 90s television on Netflix.

Disclosure: I received the Batgirl and Joker Lego Brickheadz characters for testing and review purposes. Opinions in this post are honest, and my own, and have not been altered or influenced in any way.

Note: I purchased the Batman and Robin Brickheadz characters myself.

oh I will have to keep this in mind for my oldest daughter! she has a lego set but it’s the smaller pieces and she is only 4.5 and autistic so sometime it doesn’t always work well but the bigger piece would work so much better and she could bring the characters around with her which she loves to do

These sound like wonderful collector items that can be taken apart to make your own characters. My kids are grown so we haven’t used LEGO for a few years; I didn’t know about the VIP LEGO membership and special promotions.
