Styling & Straightening Has Never Been So Easy

Conair Midsize Ceramic Styling Brush

I’m a no fuss, no muss kinda gal! The faster I can get ready to go out, the better. I have no patience to spend an hour or more in the bathroom styling and primping to get ready. As long as I am presentable, clean and neat – I’m good to go! The first time I tried the Conair Styling Brush, I fell in love. Here’s why!

When I was younger, my hair was straight as an arrow and I didn’t have to style my hair at all, unless I wanted curls. As I have aged, my hair has developed wavy curls. Now that my hair is wavy, I want it straight – most days. Some days I will just add some mousse, tussle and go while others I opt to brush those waves out and leave my hair down or more often than not (especially in the summer months) I’ll put my hair up in a pony tail. Remember – no fuss – no muss!

I seldom blow dry my hair and let nature do the work for me. I find, especially in the summer, I am too hot and sweaty already and don’t need any added heat blowing on me. I will brush my hair periodically as my hair is drying. This helps to work out some of my unruly waves. I have a hair straightener but rarely use it – only on special occasions when I need every hair in place and as straight as it can be.

What if I could eliminate a step or two? I mean – I am already brushing my hair to try and get it somewhat straighter. Why not just let it dry and then brush some style into it. Remember – no fuss – no muss! I should have thought of a styling brush sooner! I never did say I was the sharpest tack in the drawer (lol).

So here I am in all my old lady glory. I’ve let my hair dry naturally. Underneath and behind all that wavy mess is some serious curl, especially in the shorter lengths of hair.
Conair Midsize Ceramic Styling Brush - Before

I plugged in the brush and counted on waiting forever for it to heat up. It’s true in what Conair says about this product. It literally heats up in seconds. The smoothness of the ceramic paddle and nylon bristles makes styling my hair effortless. It glides through my hair very easily and I love that the bristles retain the heat. It didn’t take me very long to style my hair either! Just don’t do what I did and run your hand along the bristles – they are HOT! Yeah – like a fool, I started doing that as if I was using my hairbrush – not a great thing to do. Remember me saying I wasn’t the sharpest tack in the drawer – at times (lol). At least I didn’t burn myself and quickly stopped doing that – lesson learned!

Yes – my hair is shorter than I have normally kept it (I just got it cut) BUT it has taken me much longer to straighten and style my hair using my ceramic straightener. I love this – no fuss – no muss! My hair was left soft, shiny and sleek and without any frizz and flyaway hair too.
