Five Nights at Freddy’s
Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) is an Indie Horror video game. My boys love to watch YouTube, and they LOVE to watch people playing video games on YouTube. I know, I don’t get it either, but it is a thing. Five Nights at Freddy’s is one of their favourite games to watch. They don’t actually play it, they just watch other people play it – on YouTube.
With the FNAF Construction sets, the boys can now play their own version of FNAF – hands on, at home.
About The Security Office:
Appearing in the 3rd installment of Five Nights at Freddy’s, The Security Office is the main point of view for the player. Assuming the role of a newly hired employee at “Fazbear’s Fright” Horror Attraction, the player watches over “Fazbear’s Fright” from the Security Office, monitoring activity through a network of surveillance cameras placed in the rooms and air vents. As the night progresses, the animations go to great lengths to get into the office, causing multiple system failures that must be attended to quickly.
Kristopher claimed the FNAF Security Set immediately. He barely let me take photos for this review before he whisked the pieces up to his room to start building. Kristopher is 9, and did require minimal help with the build due to the small, and unique, pieces. He was, however, able to build most of the set himself.
Although similar to other construction building sets, FNAF is set apart by the unique characters, the disembodied heads, and the general horror theme of the game.
Kristopher’s favourite part are the heads. For whatever reason, he finds the disembodied heads hilarious. Because the FNAF construction toys are currently his favourite toys, it was something he added to his birthday list and my oldest son bought him a set. He has all of his FNAF sets displayed in his bedroom in what he calls his “little corner of horror.” I don’t ask, I just nod and agree. These toys make him happy, so we go with it!
The Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Office retails for $19.99 and is for ages 8 years and up. Other sets are also available!
