Lady and the Tramp: Disney’s Cherished Animated Classic
Available on Digital & Movies Anywhere Feb. 20 and on Blu-ray on Feb. 27
Lady and the Tramp is one of my all time favorite Disney animated features. If I recall correctly as it was so very long ago, I first watched it when I was about 5 or so. When my son was young, we had the VHS tape version and wore it out – almost. I could watch Lady and the Tramp over and over again. My grandson, Rowan, who just turned 6 weeks old will be introduced to the classic to continue on with the tradition and love of all things Disney.
In my eyes, Lady and the Tramp is the story of two dogs who live on the opposite side of the tracks -the good girl and bad boy – the well off and the poor . They fall in love and through everything that is thrown their way, which surely could break them apart, they prevail because love concurs all.
It doesn’t matter whether a person is rich or poor, in the monetary sense. What matters is what’s inside. I think, in some ways, a lot of people can relate to Lady and the Tramp.
What I love about The Walt Disney Signature Collections are that they include special features including deleted scenes and other bonus features that were not available with past releases. I find it really interesting and love learning about what went on behind the scenes, how scenes were inspired and more. Also, I like having the options to watch on various platforms such as DVD, Blue-Ray and Digital are also great to have as well. To date, the collection includes “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pinocchio,” “Bambi” and “The Lion King and now Lady and the Tramp.
Although, I do love watching movies with my family, I also like to watch them alone snuggled up with my dog Tracker. It’s my personal quiet time where I get to relax.
I think Tracker quite enjoyed the Lady and the Tramp movie. Her ears perked up when the dogs began barking and when Lady’s puppies were making noises as puppies tend to do. It really had her attention and I often saw her looking at the screen not making a movement at all. She stayed with me the whole time and had no interest in getting up, which she sometimes tends to do when she loses interest in what I’m watching.
Just as Disney is keeping the memory of their classic animated features alive for generations to come, we can keep the memory of our pets alive with this keepsake.

It was really simple to use and took minutes to complete. The instructions are easy to follow too – which I loved! Inside the box will be everything you need to get started.
The clay is really soft and malleable. It even has a touch of a light coconut scent to it.
Don’t be alarmed if it takes you a few tries to get a nice print. It took me more than a few. Tracker’s paw print is somewhat skewed as she still has her winter coat and furry paws which muddled the print somewhat but that’s okay. I’m going to have a nice color picture printed at a later date too. Now, I’ll have a nice photo and paw print of my beloved Springer Spaniel adorned by a nice frame that I can look at everyday. I have it sitting on my chest in the living room.
The Pearhead’s Pawprints Desk Frame and Impression Kit can be purchased online at petco.com for $18.09.
