NCircle Halloween Bundle – Enter to Win

NCircle Halloween Bundle

October brings cooler weather, the new NHL hockey season, and of course Halloween! NCircle has compiled a great list of Halloween titles for your little ones this year, and ONE reader will win a prize pack featuring all four titles!

The Cat in the Hat and Sid the Science Kid have been household favourites for us for years. We have been watching Martin Short as The Cat in the Hat since the very beginning (2010), and we were there in the beginning with Sid the Science Kid as well (2008). Houdini is a new one for us, and one that I plan on watching with the boys for our movie night on Friday.

The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!

Featuring Martin Short as the voice of The Cat in the Hat!

The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About Halloween!

The Cat in the Hat takes Nick and Sally on a Halloween ride filled with howlers and shockers and scary fandangles, big laughs and music and fun from all angles! Their fright-filled adventure takes them deep into the Oooky-ma-kooky Closet where Nick and Sally discover the very best Halloween costumes ever.

Running Time: Approx. 60 minutes

The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About Tricks and Treats!

A new spooky adventure this DVD brings, with the Cat, Nick and Sally, Fish and the Things. Meet the eeriest critters you’ve ever seen, arrived just in time for Halloween! There’ll be lots of tricks, and of course lots of treats, to share with the animal friends you will meet! There’s a coconut crab, spider monkeys and bats, and plenty more fun with The Cat in the Hat!

Featured Stories

  • Batty for Bats
  • Aye-Aye!
  • Trick-or-Treat!

Running Time: Approx. 35 minutes

Sid the Science Kid

Sid’s Spooky Halloween – A Science Spectacular

Join Sid and his friends as they discover how bats catch mosquitoes, why spiders are expert engineer web builders and how skeletons make up the foundation of our bodies. The kids dress up to celebrate Halloween at school, and Teacher Susie leads them in a special Halloween parade song to show off their costumes!

With Sid the Science Kid, Halloween can be spooky and scientific.

Bonus Story: Sid’s Healthy Day

Running Time: Approx. 45 minutes with bonus content

Houdini – How little Harry became the great Houdini

It’s 1866 and twelve-year old Harry has lived and breathed magic since his early childhood. The problem is that his hometown, Appletown, is not the best place for his natural talent to blossom. Although he rehearses endlessly in his parent’s barn he realizes that his dream is just that – a dream.

One day Harry catches the glimpse of a chance when the mayor of New York announces a magic competition to celebrate the official opening of the Statue of Liberty. But there’s a catch – to enter the competition, one must be trained by a real magician and poor Harry doesn’t know a single one. But then, Harry’s father crosses paths with the great Tesla, a true magician! Tesla promises to meet harry and despite the young boy’s lack of knowledge, Tesla sees talent, creativity, and boldness in Harry. He decides to give him a chance and invites him to his home to begin his training. Accompanied by his niece, Beth, and his assistant, Amrold, Tesla will teach Harry the basics of magic and his tricks. He was also test him.

Will Harry be strong enough to become a true magician?
