October Book of Choice Giveaway

Open Worldwide

november book of choice

First, congratulations to Sue for winning the October Book of Choice Giveaway. Her book choice was I Am Watching You by Teresa Driscoll.

This month is all about Wonder by R.J. Palacio for me.

“August (Auggie) Pullman was born with a facial difference that prevented him from going to a mainstream school – until now. He’s about to enter fifth grade at Beecher Prep, and if you’ve ever been the new kid, then you know how hard that can be. The thing is Auggie’s just an ordinary kid, with an extraordinary face. But can he convince his new classmates that he’s just like them, despite appearances?”

Based on the best-selling novel, Wonder makes it way to theatres November 17 and stars Jacob Tremblay (as Auggie), Julie Roberts and Owen Wilson (as Auggie’s parents). Like always, I will read the book first before I see the movie! As good as movies can be, books are always better (at least in my opinion anyways)!
