October Book of Choice Giveaway

October Book of Choice

First, congratulations to Lily M for winning the September Book of Choice Giveaway. Her book choice was One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake .

Can you believe it is time for the October Book of Choice Giveaway already? We made it through September, and I for one am happy about that. As much as I love September (back-to-school woo-hoo), it is an emotionally challenging month for me and my family,  so I’m ready for October and all the wonderfulness that Autumn brings!

With Halloween coming, I thought it would be fitting to talk about one of my favourite authors – Stephen King.  I have NOT seen IT in theatres (nor will I because clowns … that is some evil crap going on right there) but I have a very well-loved copy on my shelf that I have read countless times.

In fact, because Stephen King is one of my favourite authors, I have a bit of a collection of his books. Certain books I keep (read: hoard) long after I’ve read them, and anything by Stephen King is included in this.  Most are well-read and have seen better days I’m sure!
