Thomas was pretty excited to receive the SkyPaper Paper Plane Launcher in the mail. We had a little bit of trouble interpreting the instructions to load the plane into the launcher, so I quickly found a video review on ttpm.com that explained the process. Once we figured out how to load it, he was ready to test it out!

SkyPaper PPL-1 High Velocity Plane Launcher Features:

  • Powerful paper airplane launching device
  • Encourages fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and imaginative play
  • Launches paper planes up to 100 feet!
  • Stack up to 3 paper planes for rapid-fire multi-launch action
  • Included in the box is the Paper Plane Launcher and 24 do-it-yourself paper planes with easy to follow instructions (20 glider planes  and 4 stunt planes)
  • Requires 4 AAA batteries (not included)

Once we figured out how to load the planes, the launcher itself was really easy to use. The planes were printed with fold lines, and step-by-step instructions for folding were also included in the box. We like how the launcher turns on (making a noise) when the plane is loaded is properly, letting us know it is ready to shoot!

Thomas really loved the plane launcher, and now takes it with us whenever we go to the park.

You can load up to three planes for quick shooting, but Thomas prefers to load and shoot one plane at time.

The glider planes worked better for us than the stunt planes so Thomas prefers to use those. He was very happy with the distance that the planes were shot.  We did find that this works best on a day that is not too windy, and of course having a wide open space away from the road is essential!

This looks like an awesome toy for children, it gets them outside. I remember making paper planes lots of fun seeing how far that they would fly.
