Tracker has a 14″ neck so she was right on the cusp between a small/medium and a medium. I opted for the small/medium collar due to fact that she does need to lose a bit of weight. This way I can easily adjust the size of the collar as she trims down a bit.
The Tog Petwear Collar, being made of polyester webbing, makes it highly durable and fits comfortably. I felt around the collar and there was no scratchy material at all. The material and the stitching for the decorative logo make it very soft to the touch.
The clip is make of sturdy plastic. I know that Tracker would never pull enough to make it come apart. I like that the clip is made of plastic because if she ever (heaven forbid) get away and have her collar get stuck on anything, I am certain that the clip would break and she would be able to get free, as opposed to a lot of the metal ones that I have seen on collars lately.
The Tog Petwear Leash is also made of polyester webbing which makes the collar durable. The handle fits nicely into the hand and feels comfortable holding it. The stitching is well done to make sure the handle does not come apart.
I have a retractable leash that I use in relaxing situations. When I want more control of Tracker, I opt to use a standard leash. The Tog Petwear Leash has a nice length. I chose the 72″ so it would give Tracker a little room to roam while still having complete control. I also chose this length because my son is 6’3″ and a shorter leash would have given Tracker less room to meander about if my son were to be walking her.
Tracker also has the Tog Petwear Toronto Maple Leafs winter coat. Now she has the complete ensemble!
I love how well made the collar and leash are and especially the affordability.
