Vichy Sunscreen Ideal Soleil Sport SPF 60
Ultra-Light Lotion for Face & Body
Work and play in the sun longer using the Vichy Ideal Soleil Sport SPF 60.
I haven’t had much free time to just sit and enjoy the warmth of the suns rays and relax. I have been outdoors working on my yard and in my gardens – working up a sweat. When using a sunscreen to help protect me from the suns UVA/UVB rays, I look for one that has a high SPF. I was happy to see that the Vichy sunscreen has an SPF of 60. What does this mean for me? This means that I can stay out in the sun for longer periods of time, especially during the first days of being in the sun after being cooped up all winter long.
My skin has not seen the light of day since late fall of last year. I tend to burn, especially during the first week or two of being in the sun. Once I have been in the sun and have had a lot of exposure, I begin to tan. I started using the Vichy sunscreen on my first day in the sun and have continued using it ever since. I have not burned at all. Not a hint of red anywhere. I thought for sure that places such as in the cleavage area and higher up on my thighs would definitely get a tinge of that red glow – but no!
What I love about the Vichy Sunscreen Ideal Soleil Sport SPF 60 is that it is not greasy and quickly absorbs into my skin. Additionally, I love that I don’t get that oil slick feeling when I begin to sweat. There are many more great features about the Vichy sunscreen that I love. I can put it on wet or dry skin and use it not only on my body but on my face as well. I have to be honest and state that as a rule, I never put anything on my face and as a result, I usually get that tell tale raccoon look. You might know the one – always red on the nose and under and around the eyes. I, the past when using sunscreen on my face, I always felt so – icky – afterwards plus extra gritty from impurities such as dust sticking to my face that is blowing around in the breeze. I broke down and used some of the Vichy sunscreen on my face and I have to admit that I was pleased. I didn’t get that greasy extra oily feeling on my face, especially when I began to sweat. Speaking of sweat, I particularly like that the Vichy Sunscreen is water and sweat resistant for up to 80 minutes. No wonder it felt so good wearing it. While I am not overly allergic to anything that I am aware of – except for coconut – it was great to see that the Vichy sunscreen is hypoallergenic, fragrance free and paraben free.
The sunscreen has a light creamy consistency and rubs over and into the skin easily. It also has a very light scent that is pleasant and not overly medicinal like other sunscreens that I have used in the past.
I am totally pleased with the results after using the Vichy Ideal Soleil Sport SPF 60 sunscreen. I’m definitely wowed! I am a sun-baby and I’m so happy that I can worship and work in the sun for long hours knowing that I am protected and will not burn. I will definitely be telling my friends and purchasing this once I run out.
